Capital Campaign

The Saint Joseph's Episcopal School Board of Trustees and the school's administrative team identified a specific area for immediate improvement vital to continuing to fulfill the mission of the School. In 2007-08, a $3 million Capital Campaign was launched to complete the following:

The Early Childhood Academy (completed in September 2008).

In order to better serve the academic needs of Saint Joseph's and the community, a new Early Childhood building was constructed.  The property to construct the facility was acquired in Delray Beach and an immediate renovation of the existing structure began.  The program is designed to offer an engaging, supportive and flexible opportunity for children ages 1 to 3.  Teachers use this facility to create classroom routines to encourage independence and problem solving using themes of high interest to children of this age.

The new Early Childhood Academy, which is a state-of-the-art facility on a beautifully landscaped property, offers a secure, welcoming, loving environment in which to learn, make friends and have fun every day.  Large classrooms, four separate covered play areas and a large, well-tended grassy space offer children supervised age-appropriate opportunities for learning, play and interaction with adults and other children.

The Capital Campaign is designed to raise funds to construct and refurbish Saint Joseph's Early Childhood Academy.  Projects such as these require the financial support of many donors whose combined resources enable Saint Joseph's to complete the project successfully.  As a way of recognizing and honoring our donors, many naming opportunities at the facility are available to those who support the Early Childhood Academy in this way.
